Outline

Appropriate interactions of instructors are often crucial to emerge a “Ba (place) of learning,” a situation eliciting motivation of learners. In this research, we consider networked distributed concierge systems where each of the multi-modal interactive systems is standing by each of individual, self-directed, learners in open-education situations. In particular, we develop a framework of collaborative machine learning to obtain interaction strategies of the systems with human learners such as “how to estimate the states of learners” and “how to interact with learners.”
