Outline

The main purpose of this project is to develop technologies for quantitative understanding and optimization of surgical procedures using informatics methodologies. In this project I will develop analysis, and evaluation of surgery based on digitalized patients’ anatomy and surgeons’ skill and workflow, and will provide applications leading to solve problems on clinical activities and medical education. Through these technologies, the infrastructure of informative strategy of surgery, which realize the high-quality, reliable surgery and support the research and development of new innovative surgical technologies and medical devices, will be established.
