Outline

It is difficult to understand, predictict and control sudden changes in complex phenomena such as fluid turbulence, climate dynamics, economics and finance. These phenomena can be considered to be coupled dynamics, where inhomogeneous elements couple with each other under asymmetric interactions. Therefore, I will construct a synchronization theory by focusing on hetero-dimensional cycle which is applicable to understand such phenomena.
