Outline

Seasonal influenza is a serious threat on public health in Japan. HA sprit vaccine, which is approved now, has been developed to avoid adverse reaction. Unfortunately, it does not induce sufficient immune response. In this study, we will perform transcriptome and proteome analysis of exosome in blood. We will identify novel biomarkers for preclinical diagnosis for vaccine administration, which can predict the adverse reaction. We will also reveal the molecular mechanism underlying pathogenesis of influenza.
