Outline

Trans-omics is a multi-disciplinary approach that reconstructs intracellular molecular networks from multiple ‘omic’ data. Applying this approach to drug actions, I reconstruct multi-layered networks that orchestrate pharmacological effects in response to drug agents Reconstruction of such a network eventually allows revealing global landscape of drug actions: main actions, side effects, and novel functions in terms of molecular networks. Furthermore, I develop a rational design method for multicomponent therapeutics in reference to the multi-layered networks of drug actions, thereby enabling to control multifactorial metabolic diseases.
