Research Outline

Identification and clarification of function of target proteins with which biologically active compounds interact are indispensable for development of new pharmaceuticals. Screening of small molecules with high affinity to the target protein is also necessary to that. In this study, innovative tools which enable efficient identification and selective in-cell-labeling of the target proteins will be developed. Application of the tools to identification and functional analysis of a target protein of target-unknown bioactive compounds will also be challenged.
