Fabrication of Hybrid Organic-Inorganic Nanocomposite Materials with Controlled Microstructures |
A chemical surface modification-based method will be developed and studied for fabrication of organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposite thin films with precisely-controlled microstructures including film thickness, nanoparticle size, and interparticle spacing. The study aims at elucidating the effect of composite microstructures on physical properties of the composite materials, and also at establishing the databases that provide important implications for the development of next-generation electrical, optical, and magnetic devices. |
