Modeling evolution of complexity of biosystems through gene duplication
Biosystems are complex; they consist of multiple netwarks of a number of molecules such as proteins.
It can be considered that such a complex system has evolved from a simple one. In this process,
the genome that codes those protains has to evolve simulatenously, and gene duplication plays a crucial
role. This project aims to develp a novel model to understand the mechanisms of the maintenance and
evolution of complex biosystems through natural selection and gene duplication.
