Charge/spin/photon hybrid single-electron device based on quantum dot
Research Site Associate Professor, Sophia University, Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences | |
We aim to develop a novel hybrid device that combines the physical quantities such as "single electron charge", "spin", and "photon" which will register the information in the post-CMOS era. The hybrid device is based on semiconductor nanofabrication and quantum dot technologies. The objective is to propose and demonstrate the new functions of the device enabled by adding optical functionality and spin-spin interaction onto a single electron transistor which can be called an ultra-low power consumption device.
