Research Results
The flexibility of p-conjugated polymers enables us to fabricate highly oriented thin films and fibers comprising aligned p-conjugated chains. The high order structures lead to the possibility of high charge carrier mobility along the p-electron delocalized polymer chains. It is the purpose of this study to fabricate high-performance organic field-effect transistors using intrachain carrier transport along uniaxially aligned p-conjugated polymers.
