Novel semiconductor nanodevices utilizing "stochastic resonance" and their integration are investigated to realize state-of-the-art electronics hardware for noise-robust information processing. The stochastic resonance is a phenomenon that noise enhances response of a system, which plays an important role in nature and living things. In this research, artificially controllable nanodevices in which the stochastic resonance electrically takes place are designed, fabricated and characterized. Then they are integrated on semiconductor nanowire network structure to realize functionality for noise-robust information processing.
