System Dynamics of Neural Circuit governing Behavior

Understanding how brain functions during cognition, learning and memory is a fundamental question in neuroscience.

We challenge this issue by focusing on a simple neural circuit that regulates thermotaxis behavior in C. elegans.

We will conduct systematic optical imaging of neurons in the thermotaxis circuit to apply computational biology, and ultimately propose a new concept for dynamics of neural circuit governing behavior.
