Outline

The object of this research is to develop a highly reliable long-term semiconductor memory system which can preserve digital data for over 100 years. As memory devices, this project will work on flash memory, ReRAM and nano-gap memory. This project integrates memory devices and highly reliable signal processing technologies and provides the system-level solution for the long-term archive. In addition, very robust wiring technologies will be developed, where the diffusion of metals such as Cu are completely blocked at the atomic-level.
