Outline

The main objective of this research program is to develop a new infrared imaging system and multi-photon microscope by utilizing our unique ultrafast infrared lasers. In addition, we are aiming to apply the newly developed systems for in vivo imaging of biological tissues. We expect to observe physiologically important phenomena such as cell functions induced by ligand-receptor binding and cellular kinetics in deep tissue in real-time.
