Outline

We propose to conduct research on high-resolution epigenomic analysis toward the establishment of a new technology enabling the extraction of epigenetic information such as histone modifications and variants from a single cell. We expect this technology to predict gene expression of a cell, and thus to be able to gauge the various potentials of individual cells for, e.g., differentiation, regeneration, and canceration.
