Outline

The conventional methodology and device development in single cell analysis has two significant issues. First one is multi-scale discrepancy in six orders between human (user) and cell/molecule. Another one is difficulty of chemical processing and highly-sensitive detection in ultra-small spaces. In this project, we solve these technological issues by applying micro- and extended-nano fluidic device engineering in which our group has pioneered. Collaborating with promising researchers in the fields of biology and clinical medicine, we create practical single cell analysis system and broadly contribute to biomedical fields.
