First Science Forum: A forum for discussion between world-leading researchers and young people

Held by JST since 2010, this event is designed to be an effort to reach out to the general public regarding the FIRST Program, a program being promoted by the Cabinet Office and the Council for Science and Technology Policy (CSTP). This event builds hope for the future of science and technology by fostering two-way dialogue between young people and world-leading researchers.
In addition, it also contributes to:
・Broadening the human resource pool for next generation science and technology
・Raising the knowledge and abilities of the Japanese people with regard to science and technology
・Sharing the needs of the people via their dialogue with researchers
