Research Strategy
  Chloroplast ATP synthase has unique regulation system known as redox regulation system. Our research aim is to clarify this regulation mechanism at the molecule level. We already had showed clearly that redox regulation of ATP synthase is regulation of rotation of the central axis gamma subunit due to the formation or the cleavage of disulphide bond on this subunit.
  In addition, the network of redox regulation system in plants is investigated comprehensively. It finally will reveal the significance of the redox switch of plants.
