Device Design Group
 Research concept of this group is gfrom Materials to Devicesh. We design novel fullerene derivatives for device applications, and using the new physical properties of the materials, we optimize design of organic devices. Taking unique properties of the materials into account, we explore application of the fullerene derivatives for organic photovoltaics, organic transistors, organic LED and organic memory. We focus on fundamental physical properties such as energy level, carrier mobility and morphology in a thin film shape, elucidating correlation between molecular structure and film properties, for providing an excellent performance of fullerene-based devices.
