Research Theme
Mathematical models of visual perception by means of wavelet framesElucidation of mechanism of vision is one of most crucial themes of sciences. The aims of my study are to construct nonlinear mathematical models of humanfs visual system, and to elucidate by means of the mathematical models the mechanism of the visual system, the occurrence of visual illusion, and color perception. For this purpose I will construct new wavelet frames appropriate to the study of vision. These studies will closely tie to image processing, and lead us also to the evolution of mathematics.
