Researcher are often looking forward to opportunities. I was lucky to be given the opportunity to do an attachment of joint research program at University of Tsukuba, Japan. Joining this pogram at the University of Tsukuba was a very worthwhile experience for me. This university is one of the most prestigious universities, especially in biotechnology fields. It was an honor to be given this chance to gain a precious experience. Besides, Jappanese reseacher really have a good lab management skills and good lab work techniques. I had learnt a lot of new skills and techniques. Their students and researchers were very skillful and helpful. I hope that what I learnt here I could apply it in my ongoing research. Thanks to University of Tsukuba, sensei and friends, for giving me chance to gain this precious experience.
Overall, I have learned how to survive in a foreign country, out of reach from my parents and others whom I am familiar with. I have grown as individual in many ways. This study program has allowed me to gain a more sense of independence and curiosity to different places. Based on the beautiful pictures I have seen, there were so many places in Japan that I have always wanted to visit. The people, the culture and the traditions of this country are all unique. Although I cannot speak Jappanese, Japan has brought a sense of curiosity, excitement and happiness, while strengthening my knowledge.
By being in this program, I was exposed to a variety of learning perspectives. I have come to realize that to gain valuable experience and knowledge, it is important for one to go study abroad and to make a worlwide discovery about developments in other countries . By gaining this valuable experience, this program has allowed my knowledge to expand to a larger extent.
