This program has enabled me to experience the culture and life as a student in Japan. I especially appreciate the activities that were arranged in the Sakura Science Plan, such as seminars, industrial plant visits and campus tour. The seminars and lectures conducted were very interesting and showcased the recent technology in Japan. Sharing sessions enabled the participants to exchange knowledge regarding their research, which enhanced the interactions between students with different backgrounds. Besides, I was very impressed with the university campus and its environment. The professors and colleagues in the university are very friendly and helpful. During the tour around different laboratories, I was introduced to a lot of high-end laboratory set-ups and equipment, which creates a very conducive and comfortable environment for me to pursue my research in Japan. Other than that, Japan is a very nice country and it is a great experience to be able to be attached in Japan for my research.
