Outline of the Project

Given the global situation in logical drug design and development, a reliable, robust, and practical methodology that enables the efficient production of chiral compounds is urgently required. In this project, we are developing a series of cooperative catalysts exhibiting multiple catalytic functions that promote specific enantioselective C–C bond-forming reactions with perfect atom economy. These reactions will streamline the enantioselective synthesis of therapeutics with minimal undesired by-products.
