Development of Practical Method for Molecular Transformation Based on Catalytic Asymmetric Domino Reactions

Outline of the Project

Catalytic asymmetric domino reaction based on the immobilization of spiro bis(isoxazoline) ligand (SPRIX) and acid-base type organocatalyst will be investigated.  The micelle derived nano-particle and/or metal-bridged polymer method, developed by the present researchers, will be utilized for the immobilization of plural kinds of catalysts.  The metal catalytic site and the organocatalytic site in the hybrid catalyst are expected to promote sequential reaction independently to realize an environmentally benign domino process which produces medicinally important optically active compounds.
