Outline of the Project

In this study, chemical conversion of carbon dioxide by photocatalysis and catalysis is investigated. Rational design of composite materials in nanometer-scale is expected to realize highly efficient conversion of carbon dioxide to useful chemical compounds. Nanocomposite catalysts and photocatalysts are developed for the conversion under environmentally benign reaction conditions or under sun light irradiation.
